Ever heard of them?? Don't be surprised if you haven't, even though they are made by the biggest motorcycle company in the world ......... Harley Davidson!
Erik Buell first took a Harley Davidson engine and built a bike that handled around the historic V Twin engine.Harley Davidson watched Erik establish the company, then bought them and established the Buell dividion within Harley Davidson Motor Cycle Company.
I've owned two Buells, a 1999 X1 Lightning Racing Stripe, considered by some to be the best of the tube framed Buells.
My second Buell is a 2005 XB12s Lightning and in my opinion is even better than the X1
A great site to tell you everything you want to know about Buell's. I wrote the old XB Pages, and as the site has been updated, here are the old pages if you are interested? Some of it is out of date, but maybe I'll update it and incorporate it here properly one day!

Great Software for tuning your Buell. Gives full access to the fuel and ignition maps, error codes and lots more on your Buell.
I've helped with the research on this and strongly recommend it for anyone mildly technical who owns a buell.

For anyone who wants to try my maps, here are the EEPROM files and Fuel Map files for my bike, This is an XB12s with Micron, vented airbox 06 style and K&N. It runs great on mine and has been tested by a few others, but I cannot guarantee it will be any good on your bike. For safety it would be best to get your bike checked on a dyno after loading any new map!
